It's not mandatory to have a boyfriend or a girlfriend on February 14th or on any day for that matter, but some people seem to think so.

You don't have a boyfriend/girlfriend? There's nothing wrong with that and you can't let February 14th tell you otherwise.

Some weeks ago I was talking with a colleague, she asked and I told her I didn't had a boyfriend and she said "To bad, is always nice to have a boyfriend in the winter, he can warm you up."
Well, if I had a boyfriend I wouldn't treat him as a blanket ahah Having a boyfriend is so much more than that, but I will tell you what I think Love is in another post.

If this day really affects you in a negative way, if seeing huge teddy bears with big red hearts that have written "I LOVE YOU" takes away all your joy, why not make this day all about YOU?

All about you

A minimum social media
I love having this "all about me" days. I leave all the stress behind me to relax a bit, but for me to do that I have to reduce my social media to a minimum. Don't check your e-mail (if that is where your biggest work worries come from), say "See you later" to Facebook, and only use Instagram to post some photos of your Perfect day, if you want to.

See some episodes or films
A thing that I really love to do in this days is to see new episodes of my favorite Tv shows. Is better to see comedies in this day and forget about Tv shows with too much drama. You can check Selfie and New Girl, but you can also see Friends, we can't never get enough of it.

Do something to relax
When I want to relax I bake, some people read, other people like to knit.
Take a long bath while listening to your favorite band, paint your nails while seeing your favorite Tv show, spend an hour browsing Pinterest. Just do what you Love, you're the one that knows you the best.

And celebrate yourself, the amazing person YOU are. Do this a monthly thing, there's nothing better than to treat yourself right, you deserve it!

Last Friday I met Helena to take some photographs for the blog.

I really wanted to go to the Casinha Boutique Café, I never visited it and I was really anxious to go, I've heard such amazing things about this coffee shop.

I asked for a small cappuccino and 1/2 heated chapata bread with butter, loved it! The space is really nice, I loved the interior decoration.

The look I used this day will be on the blog tomorrow at 1pm as always, see you soon.

This app sucks, big time.

I'm actually scared for my blog's life. Scared that I accidentally click on some of this tiny buttons and I delete some blog posts, scared that I accidentally post a draft, or turn a perfectly good published blog post into a complete disgrace.

But I keep using this app that doesn't seem to be able to synchronize correctly, or AT ALL for that matter, and an app that thinks that every blog post was posted in the same day. But know why I keep using it?

Because when my creativity strikes, when I'm in bed or in the subway, and I don't have my computer near by I open this app in my cellphone, and start typing till exhaustion.

I love it because I can immediately start typing without the risk of forgetting something that I really wanted to say. And this app may have a lot of problems, and I wouldn't trust it to publish posts, but it's the best at saving drafts, and that I know for sure.

I've written so many posts in this app, especially the Personal ones where the ideas for them came up to me late at night or when I'm somewhere waiting for something.

I've tried endless ways to write posts on-the-go, like creating a draft on my email or writing it down on a piece of paper, but I always end up losing information and valuable time.

You may think I'm crazy to use this horrible app, but I've grown fond of it, it made me company in sleepless nights and made the number of drafts in my blog grow exponentially. And I'm really thankful for that!
